Walden can perform and coordinate the removal
of an underground storage tank (UST) or aboveground
storage tank (AST). Aspects of the project Walden
can handle :
Coordinate
removals with regulatory bodies (Fire Marshal, Health
Department, NYSDEC, NJDEP, PADER, etc).
Prepare
specifications and plans for bidding purposes.
Conduct
bid meeting and review bids.
Remove
petroleum, heating oil, waste oil, fresh product
and chemical tanks.
Direct
removal contractor during UST removal and investigate
<br>excavation after tanks are removed.
Perform
soil sampling in accord with local or State requirements.
Direct
contractor to excavate contaminated soil to limit
the amount of soil to be removed.
