Environmental, Civil or Related Engineering Discipline

The Engineer will provide comprehensive engineering services relating to the planning, design, construction, and operation of municipal and industrial water, wastewater, and hazardous material / waste storage facilities, including expansion and upgrading of existing facilities.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Environmental, Civil, or related Engineering Discipline
  • Work Experience:
    • 0-4 years in field investigations, oversight, and remediation systems
    • 4-8 years in performing and managing field engineering on remediation projects
  • Working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulations
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, EQuIS, and Arcview GIS a plus
  • Must possess solid written and verbal communication skills
  • 40hrs OSHA training, a plus
  • Professional licensing, a plus

Geologist, Hydrogeologist, or Environmental Scientist

The Geologist, Hydrogeologist, or Environmental Scientist will conduct soil, air and groundwater sampling, field investigations, construction and drilling oversight as well as operation and maintenance of remediation systems and writing of technical reports.

GIS/Database Developer

  • General understanding or interest in the environmental/civil engineering field
  • Proficiency in: o VB .Net o MS Access o SQL Server or SQL Express
  • Knowledge and experience with ESRI ArcGIS products heavily preferred
  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and deploying SQL databases or geodatabases
  • Experience developing custom SQL queries and/or custom GIS tools

Summer 2010 Internships

Seeking BS Environmental Engineering/Geology student for a summer internship but will also entertain resumes from students with a technical B.S. background or a student with strong computer skills.

  • Project work varies based on our work load but may include:
    • Supervised field work and data collection
    • Writing field sampling work plans and bidding documents
    • Groundwater sampling
    • Helping with compliance audits and Phase I audits
    • Write reports, proposals, and client correspondence
    • Computer proficiency in Word and Excel is required
    • Write reports, proposals and client correspondence
    • OSHA 40 hr training a plus
  • The work is full time or part time (depending on availability) and shall extend until school resumes.
  • A successful applicant must have a vehicle and a place to live.
