Geographic Information Systems

Walden creates Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases to store and manage spatial data to allow users to display their data graphically in maps. Walden customizes each database system for our individual clients to maximize access to the information that is stored and the insight gained by using it. By using the tools these databases and digital maps provide, our clients are able to answer more complex questions and find unique patterns in the data more rapidly and with greater accuracy than traditional database systems. Some of our clients have used their custom GIS database systems to view the extent of contamination, identify sales patterns within territories, manage an electric utility, and quickly address local resident issues.

3D Modeling and Data Visualization

Using C Tech's EVS software, Walden provides our clients with rich three-dimensional visual interpretations of their environmental issues. Our visualizations assist property owners, regulatory agencies, and attorneys in determining the size and scope of their environmental issues, allowing for better understanding of the issues and leading to more informed decision making.
